What is the Sweeping Change Fund Program?
You’ve Got Maids of Northern Virginia has created the Sweeping Change Fund, an initiative aimed at supporting nonprofits in Loudoun and Fairfax counties. The Sweeping Change Fund is designed to engage the community and amplify the work of nonprofits making significant impacts. Through the program, the community can nominate nonprofits to compete in a quarterly fan vote for a $1,500 award.
“This community has given me and my business so much over the years, and the Sweeping Change Fund is a way of giving back, making a tangible difference where it’s needed most,” stated Natasha Magrath, president and CEO of You’ve Got Maids of Northern Virginia.
At the Blue Swallow Farm Foundation, we are incredibly grateful for the support of our amazing stakeholders, whose contributions help us bring our mission of connecting students to nature through authentic, outdoor activities to life. It’s such an honor to be recognized by our community and named as finalists for the Sweeping Change Program through You’ve Got Maids of Northern Virginia. The Sweeping Change Fund aims to amplify the efforts of nonprofits making a real difference, and we are thrilled to be part of this initiative. The $1,500 award, given quarterly, would allow us to provide valuable workshops and resources to educators who incorporate outdoor learning into their classrooms. Thank you so much for helping us continue this important work!
