We have had a busy summer at the Blue Swallow Farm Foundation. Here are some of the activities that we have been involved with and others that are coming up:

  • Sponsored students and teachers to attend the Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education Youth Summit;

  • We have new lessons for the Outdoor Science and Literacy Program on pollination for Grades K-2 and 3-5. Thank you to the Pollination Project for sponsoring this program;

  • Presenting at the European Association of Research on Learning and Instruction in September;

  • Conducting professional development with educators in Virginia in August; and

  • Working with student volunteers, interns, and doctoral candidates from universities in Arizona, California, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, and South Carolina on research, curriculum, and art projects.
